News of improvement – Twiggs
Further to our earlier report of Sad News, it is heartening to be able to provide the latest news to be released with regard to Billy Twigger’s condition (courtesy of Groundspeak): “Ewan is now in the Spinal Unit at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow. He is still quite unwell, but he can breath on his own and can speak to his family.”
Interestingly, there was a proposal (the Groundspeak Forum is world-wide) that a fund-raising campaign be started to assist with expenses arising, however it was quickly noted that in the UK, this worry does not arise.
Being in receipt of Watch-list updates for the island’s caches, appreciation and thanks are due to those who have been able to carry out maintenance of the caches during their visits.
